Humalog Mix 50 is the more aggressive biphasic: 50% rapid-acting lispro, 50% intermediate protamine. Stronger initial peak than Mix 25, shorter carry-through — typically used when the primary need is post-meal glucose control with less overnight coverage.
For performance use the higher lispro fraction means a bigger anabolic window. Best run by users who already have a protocol dialed in.
